She needed a little shift for under a crocheted dress that my Grandma Donna made for me when I was Kate's age. It is a beautiful blue dress and Kate just needed something to cover her up underneath.
I took one of my old slips and made her size and added some eyelet lace for straps and on the bottom.
She looks so cute in it. I'm wanting to make a little dress similar to this... not that she needs another dress.

Aw, sweet. I remember my mum making me wear petticoats - usually under itchy kilts - but they were never that cute.
