I found this rain barrel at the strawberry farm that the kids and I went strawberry picking at last week. Love it. Then today I see in the newspaper that the town is selling rain barrels for a sweet price... and I'm thinking that I'm going to have to buy one. I've always wanted to have one to save on water & money. They are just the coolest ever!

I think it would be cool just to have a real barrel, turning it into a rain collection device is even more awesome.
I've been wanting one forever. Every year I see how much rain we got and wish I would've gotten one for the garden.
I keep meaning to order one since they are relatively cheap but something else takes precedence all the time.
Then we saw a place down the road selling barrels so we figured we'd DIY one.
steve has been meaning to make us some for a year. maybe this month's water bill will push him to do it.
