I've made a couple of baby presents. One of them was this giraffe pillow toy. I originally saw this pin on pinterest and decided to make one for a friend having a baby girl. I made it using what I had on hand. It's about 12 inches high and 3 or 4 inches wide. I embroidered the giraffe with tan & brown to give it a more organic feel.
The back is a Heather Bailey print. I think it's Church Flowers.
I also made one of my favorite receiving blankets. Just a yard of white flannel with colorful binding.
