I am loving this quilt. The front fabrics are ones that Emilie & I picked out together last summer. I love how all of the different colors and patterns work perfectly together.
The backing is a busy print with grey, white, & yellow.
The binding, though, is a solid grey to help balance out all the awesomeness of color and pattern.
And I quilted it with the free motion foot in a meandering pattern. I love how crinkly and snuggly the quilt gets once it comes out of the dryer.
I sew the binding onto the front of the quilt with the machine and then hand stitch it onto the back. I just really like the way it looks.
Do you bind your quilts the same? If not, what do you do?

Love it. I always like a houndstooth pattern, especially in Gray!
