bohemian chic quilt

I adore grabbing different fabrics that magically seem to go together. This is one of those quilts. I found the backing first and then planned the quilt top around it. I picked bright, fresh, and fun fabric pieces and just started cutting and sewing. This awesome quilt is the result.

I used a solid hot pink for the binding to tie all of the colors and patterns together. It works wonderfully.

This was the first time I've done a circle/pebble pattern with the free motion quilting. I'm really impressed with how it turned out.

See what I mean? Love that quilting on it.

This is the backing I told you about. Those elephants are so awesome. 

I don't think you can really tell in the photo but that top left fabric is sparkly. Delightful!
