Halloween Costumes

Todd wanted to be a ghost for Halloween, so we got a sheet and chopped it up for him. His requirement was to have circle eye holes. His inspiration was the Ghost of the Forest book with the Berenstain Bears.

Since Todd was going to be something classic I wanted Kate to be something classic too. So she got to be Red Riding Hood. I am going to have her wear her green corduroy jumper under her hood and her cute black mary janes.

Circle Quilt, part 1

I am making this quilt for my in-laws for Christmas. I am hoping to get it done in time to give it to them on Thanksgiving since we will be there then, but not Christmas. What do you think?

Green Corduroy Jumper

Just in time for Fall, I took a green corduroy skirt that was a bit too big for me and made a jumper for Kate out of it. I lined it with some really cool material that has snails and toadstools on it.

Runner

It was about time that I posted pictures of the patriotic runner that I won from a giveaway awhile back. It is really neat and works great on my new black table. I will be posting pics of my new black table and chairs once we get back from staying at the hotel with Josh for his business trip. I finally put the last coat of sealant on right before we left and it is 'curing' while we are gone. I am so excited to be able to have family meals together around the table again soon.

Patching

If you're 4 years old and you're going to have a patch on your jeans it better be a rocket ship.

He had just worn a hole in these jeans and I decided to do something about it last night after I pulled them out of the dryer.
