{I send picture lunch notes to school for Todd. I started this at the beginning of the school year when Todd couldn't read yet. Now that he can read he has requested a written note on the other side of the picture. So now I put cute notes like, "I love you", "You are cool!", or "You are fantastic!"}

I used to do the same (word notes) for my boys when they were younger. I still write love notes and tuck them in my husbands pockets on the clothes he is wearing to work, under his keyboard, or in his computer/carry all bag he uses regularly.
