Neck Warmer

I made this rice warmer. When you want it warm you pop in the microwave for just a tad, or if you need it cold, just put it in the freezer or fridge. I always liked to put a warm one on my neck and relax.

Knitted Washcloths

This is a set of washcloths that I knitted for Ellie for Christmas of 2007. I taught myself how to knit from a book, but so far have only taught myself one stitch. So... this is what I have made so far with the one stitch. lol

Valentine's Day Quilt

I made this quilt for Valentine's Day decoration. I hand quilted every red heart on the front. The edges are also done by hand.

Crazy Quilt

I made this for my friends, Sarah & Josh, when they got married. Well, actually I meant to do it for when they were married, but finished just before Kate was born. There is embroidery on it and it is hand tied.

Todd's Teddybear

I made this for Todd, with the help of my friend Ellie, for Christmas 2006. I embroidered the eyes and nose onto it. The brown corduroy material is from a mouse-eaten jacket that my Mom had found and I used it for the material.

Kate's Girly Blanket

I made this blanket for Kate while I was still pregnant with her. It is extremely soft on both sides and has eyelet lace for the edging. I tied it and did the edging all by hand.

Kate's Crocheted Blanket

I made this for Katelin when I was still pregnant with her. I made it really big so that it would last with her for a long time. I used the stitch that I call the basket weave.

Todd's Hawaiin Blanket

I made this from material that I bought in Hawaii at the swap meet when I was pregnant with Todd. I didn't know if the baby was going to be a girl or a boy, so I bought some material for a boy and some for a girl. It worked out well, though, because the boy material was my favorite one. I tied the blanket and machine sewed the blanket.

Children's Aprons

Here are a couple of pictures of the aprons, modeled by the sweet children that I made them for.

Potholders

These were the first potholders that I ever made. I was in High School at the time. I broke the needle on my Mom's Singer sewing machine when I was sewing these (too much material in a spot). Oops. I still have them though, obviously, and they work great.

Crocheted Hotpads

I made these years ago, but still have them. These are yellow, but the picture does not show it that well. :( My Mom has a blue set that I made. They are not that great for picking pots up (the holes in the hotpads), but are great for setting hot pots on.

Christmas Runner

For Christmas 2007, my friend Ellie gave me a pattern and pre-cut fabric pieces. I was so excited. I was pregnant and had to relax, LOTS! So, I decided to do this one entirely by hand to help keep occupied as long as possible. I really enjoyed this and am excited to have this for all of the upcoming Christmases.

Children's Heirloom Quilt

I made this in 2005 while I was pregnant with Todd. It is machine pieced and hand quilted. The edges were done by hand.

Couch Pillows

A close up of one of the pillowcases.

I first made the two pillows and then I made the pillow cases. I have a red couch cover that the roosters match. I made these in 2007.

Crazy Quilt (Still in the making)

Ellie's "Rag Quilt"

*update- here are the pics that Ellie sent me of the finished rag quilt:

I turned this into a 'rag quilt' for Ellie's daughter, Marie.

Sue's Garden Quilt

This is Sue's Garden Quilt. I put a lot of work into it. Except for the hand applique and embroidery, it was machine pieced, hand tied, and the edges were done by machine.
