I wanted this dress to be cute and 'heartsy' for Valentine's Day, but also summery since it should fit Kate in the summer, too. I made the straps extra long and folded them on the inside so that even when she grows a few inches, all that I have to do is let them out and it will fit her for a long time.

I second Jessica. That is SOOO cute. I miss little Kate. We need to get out to see you again, before she starts getting boyfriends in that dress. :-)
