My Favorite Quilt

I'm supposed to pick my favorite quilt and post about it for the first Online Quilt Festival at Amy's blog ( http://parkcitygirl.blogspot.com ). It is so neat to be able to see all of these amazing quilts. There are so many cool ideas there.

So... my favorite quilt that I've made is the one for my sister-in-law, Joy, this past Christmas. It is my favorite because I have always loved traditional quilts. I had always wanted to make one, but was intimidated. I finally did it and was so relieved to have it turn it out well. I chose the colors that I did because she told me that she had blue walls and, also, that she likes patriotic things.

Very lovely quilt. I like your color combination to compliment the blue walls. Very nicely done.

This is beautiful. I've never made a traditional quilt but love the simplicity of the patterns. I may have to add one of these to my list of "have to makes" :-)
