Blushing Buttercream Pettiskirt GIVEAWAY!!!!

Blushing Buttercream Pettiskirt GIVEAWAY!!!!

*Another awesome giveaway at Grosgrain!

Treasure Map #2

This one I made for Todd and painted it, not embroidered. I figure that it will last longer this way and stand up to all of the pirate adventures he will have.

Canvas Bag

This is the first canvas bag that I've made. I'm so excited that it turned out so well (no pattern). I used a navy blue canvas to make it. The white sailboat was made using a sailboat cookie cutter for the design and then I added the dots, too. It has a nautical theme to it. It went to my friend, Panda, for her birthday.

Painting on Fabric

I wanted to do some painting and so I did these toadstools. I'm going to do something with them for Kate's woodland fairy room. :)

Little Chair Makeover

This is Todd's chair once made-over. It used to be silver and rusted with vinyl peeling away from the seat. I took off the rust, used some rust proof paint and used the same red fabric that I had used on my dining room chairs. Through experience I've learned that on a child's chair I need plastic covering it.
This is the fabric that Todd and I agreed upon for his chair makeover. :) It already has the plastic on it in the photo.
Waiting for the chair to dry so that I can put the seat on it. *funny note: I couldn't find a paintbrush, so I used one of my basting brushes. (It ended up in the trash when I was done, but it did the job and I had two, so I'm still good) :)

Kate's Doll

I found this cute doll template on Homemade by Jill. I changed the pattern up a bit for this doll so that I could have the yarn hair, so it is not an actual black apple doll
I have never done a doll with yarn hair before, but it turned out pretty well. It is tied back into two ponytails with some of Kate's hair ties.

Baby Gift Box

My friend just had a baby and I sent her a baby gift box to celebrate. There was the matching bib & burbcloth set

a set of argyle baby-legs
and a little green tag-blanket
