We had friends over this morning to make pinecone bird feeders with us. So messy and so much fun. The feeders are hung up on the trees in our backyard just waiting for the birds.
Todd, Kate, and I started the flower seeds this afternoon in some cartons from the kitchen.

Thanks. I just tied a string around the pine cone, slathered the pine cone in pnt butter and then rolled it in bird seed. Seriously simple and cheap and my birds have been loving them.
