Litte Boy Punk Tie

I made a tie for Todd out of the same punk material that I used for Kate's Baby Punk Ballerina Dress. It has elastic to fit over his head and hide under his church shirt collar. :)

Nursing Cover

I wanted a nursing cover and didn't feel like paying at least 30 - 40 dollars for one, so I found material that I liked and made this one.

Diaper Grab Bag

I made this when I had Katelin Rose. I had seen some online at Target (I don't remember the brand name) and really liked them... so, I made one.

It holds travel size wipes, two diapers, and a travel size baby powder. Which is just perfect for me to have in the diaper bag. When we're out and about and need to change her diaper, I just grab it and go.

Apple Orchard Tunic

I made this last night and tonight. Kate looks so cute in it. I think that the next one that I make will be a bit longer and maybe a tad wider, too. I am really enjoying all of this sewing. :)

Isn't Katelin just so adorable! I love these pics of her and the mirror.

1st Quilt

When I was at college I decided that I wanted to do a jean quilt. So... all those jeans that girls didn't want? I cut them all up and made one. I did not have a sewing machine and so the first half of the top is hand sewn. I learned the hard way that it is difficult to hand stitch denim. I finally finished the last half with a sewing machine. I embroidered some of the blocks. Pictured here:

Snowflake Flannel Pants

I made pants for Todd. Yesterday, I bought this soft flannel and made them this afternoon/evening. He had so much fun standing on the table when I tried them on him to see how they fit.

Polka-dot Skirt

I wanted to do something with this pretty material. The chocolate brown and pink combo was too much to resist. ...so, I made a skirt for Kate, which also match some babylegs that I've made for her. I did add a tiny pink grosgrain ribbon to the bottom.

dinosaur pillowcase

Todd picked out this dinosaur material. He really liked it (dinosaurs are big right now...), so I bought a yard and made this pillowcase for him. He absolutely loves it. :)

Baby Legs

I found this tutorial for baby legs through this blog. It is so easy to make these. Just find awesome knee socks and about 10 -15 minutes of time. I whipped these up for Kate on Sunday morning since I didn't have any black tights for her dress.

Baby Punk Ballerina Dress

I had a fun time making this dress. There are about 3 yards of tulle under the skirt to poof it out. The red bow was just the perfect finishing touch to it.
