1st

This is the first dolly of the bunch. I'm working on a whole bunch. Some are for friends pregnant with girlies and others are for girly Christmas presents.

Busy bee

Looking forward to the flea/farmer's market again tomorrow. This is an adorable finger puppet that we picked up for Todd on his birthday for $1. How awesome is that? I'm hoping to pick up more tomorrow. Maybe a little red riding hood one for Kate...

A quick little purse for our next door neighbor girl's birthday. She just turned 4.

Made a quick reversible tote bag for my friend Emilie's birthday.

Took a break from putting the sealant on my table and chairs and really need to finish up so that we can actually eat at our table again.

What I have been up to: Eating chocolate, making dolls, watching t.v., & cleaning up from two children all once they are in bed. This is what I've been up to for the past few nights.

These yummy pay-it-forward gifts are in the mail except for the chandelier ruby one. That package is still awaiting one little boy's tie. I just need to add the velcro to the tie and then the package will be off. The reason I still have to add the tie is that she has twin boys and makes little girly hair bows and I make little boy ties, but not hair bows. So I am sending her two blue boy ties and she will send me some lovely hair bows. Hooray!

Eliana's Baby Blanket

I've just made this baby blanket for my friend Sunshine's baby girl due on Christmas. This quilt was my inspiration and I hope that she loves it!

Fresh Fabric

I've recently bought material from Fabric, Family, Fun twice and love it all!

Spanish Princess Dress

Kate has been growing so quickly and I decided to make another dress for her. This is what I came up with. I had just been watching The Mask of Zorro, which was my inspiration.

On the zipper you could see where I had sewn the zipper on, so I embroidered some black there. It looks so good. There is a lining sewn in too and some tulle in the skirt.

Pay It Forward

I've recently received my pay-it-forward gift from my friend, Ellie. The really nice embroidery wall hanging in the picture below... So, I was inspired to finish my last pay-it-forward gifts. Which is the preview picture above. :)

Swirling Waters Quilt Top Finished!!!

Hooray! Now all I have to do is buy the batting for it and then I can finish it up. I already have a blue sheet for the backing. Oh, and I need to make some binding for it, but not too big of a deal. I am just thrilled to have so much of the quilt done now.

And then it will go on Todd's black twin size bed. It will look so good. I can't wait to see it on there with his black bedroom set and all of the stuff in his bedroom (globe, jolly roger on the wall, etc.).

Can't Believe It

Wow. Ok, if I was a lottery kind of gal I would have to go out and buy a ticket right about now, because...

I just won another giveaway!!!

It is this AMAZING drunkards path pattern runner. It was a giveaway done by Lame In Both Feet. I was so excited when I found out that I had won that I yelled out loud, startling Todd. Poor guy, but I think that he just attributed it to his mom being mildly crazy. :)
