Cindy's quilt

Another one of my friends was having a baby girl and I had recently been given a moda layer cake. I knew exactly what to do. Just the four rows weren't quite as big as I wanted so I added the white strips between the rows. And with the matching white binding, it wrapped it up quite perfectly. I used a soft pink and white striped flannel for the backing.

I decided to try a fun free motion quilting on the white strips. Despite the wonkiness of the loops, I think it turned out really well. It's fun experimenting with different free motion quilting options. {Wishing you luck on getting your projects done.}
